Management Accountant

For this Management Accountant position you will be working across a dedicated business unit to prepare budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to stakeholders across the business and also working closely with the dedicated finance business partner. This a great opportunity for an existing management accountant to gain different exposure or someone with accounting experience wanting to step into a management accounting role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial management of business units within the portfolio and raising the financial capability of business unit managers
• Produce and analyze progress reports, updated costs and forecasts, while aligning the budget process and seeking opportunities to refine processes where necessary.
• Provide information and knowledge to support cost models and assist the wider finance teams.
• Support internal stakeholders in monitoring progress relating to the longer term performance improvement.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualification would be desirable
• Knowledge of government financial processes and best practices
• Management accounting experience in government organization
• Examples of dealing with stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills
